Текст письма внизу. Вкратце смысл в следующем: на Чемпионат заявилось 213 человек, хотя максимум 200. Поэтому впервые за последние годы ИДНИРА должна будет кого-то не допустить к участию в соревнованиях и поставить "на лист ожидания". Решение о допуске простое: "кто первый встал, того и тапочки", т.е. опоздавшие на соревнования рискуют быть зрителями. Роман, R-713 _____ Dear Ice sailing friends, We now have over 200 entries for the WC/EC 2008. After adjustment of double entries and other false entries the preliminary number is 213. Many of you will know that in Europe we have a limit of 200 for major regattas (4 Fleets of 50). This limit was discussed by the National Secretaries at length in 2000 and 2002 and unanimously agreed. There has never been a need to enforce this rule before but this year there is. However because the limit was not quoted in the Notice of Race for the WC/EC it has been agreed by the IDNIYRA Europe Executive Committee that a special exception will be made and those sailors who have been accepted for entry at the closing date (31/12/07 – 24:00) will be allowed to compete. This subject will be a priority for review at the next IDNIYRA National Secretaries meeting in St Petersburg. If less than 200 of those 213 show up at registration we will fill up from a “waiting list” up to 200 sailors. Registration will be done on Saturday 16.02.2008 from 10:00 to 20:00. Afterwards, when we know how many we are, sailors from the “waiting list” can register. (20:00 to 21:00) We will create the “waiting list” on Saturday, 16.02.2008; 10:00 in the race office. We will run it on a first come first serve basis. Sailors can send a representative to be put on this list. At “late-registration-time” (20:00 – 21:00) we will call sailors from the waiting list. If they don’t show up personally at this time, they will lose their place on the waiting list. Think Ice Niklas OE 221 |
